Our Daytrotter session is up!

Our Daytrotter session is now up!  We think it came out sounding pretty great, especially considering we hadn’t slept in quite some time (and may or may not have been completely hungover.  Anyway, go download this and listen to it and love it.  We don’t play “Charm City” live that much because it’s a bit slow, and this version of “Bardstown Road” is a lot different than the one on Sand & Lines.

For the record, “Viola Loud Mix” is actually the song “Okay”.

Aquarium Drunkard debuts new MP3: "Tugboat"

Justin Gage and Co. at Aquarium Drunkard have debuted the newest MP3 “single” from our upcoming album, Sand & Lines.  Recorded live to tape with only two microphones, this our restructuring and reimagining of the Galaxie 500 classic, “Tugboat”.  We’d like to think that we did a pretty good job with it (and, yes, we know that everyone and their brother has covered it!).  Anybody who heard our first album, Sorry About the Flowers, should know what an influence Galaxie 500 has on us.
